How To Find Dropshipping Suppliers

How To Find Dropshipping Suppliers

So, you’ve decided to give dropshipping a try and are wondering where you will get products to add to your store.

In my role as a customer service chat agent here at Dropified, I am asked on a daily basis how to find dropshipping suppliers with solid products for a store someone wants to start.

I have curated 12 companies that I feel are the better choices but this list isn’t exhaustive. All membership prices are accurate at the time of this post.

Direct Sellers

AliExpress

Aliexpress is an online retail service based in China and owned by the Alibaba Group. AliExpress has been around since 2010 so it is quite established as the most well known online store for dropshippers. It is comprised of individuals or small businesses in China that are independently owned. AliExpress is aimed at selling to international buyers at a cost that is lower than you can get in any store or other dropshipping sites.

Shipping times from AliExpress range anywhere between 12 to 25 days. If you are a successful dropshipper than you can find an agent in China that makes shipping times much shorter. The agent will require a minimum amount of orders a month though so this isn’t an option until you get going and have a track record.

Alibaba

Another branch of the Alibaba Group is its group of manufacturers’ which are collected on Alibaba.com. Although it doesn’t sell in small quantities you could consider them if you are looking to import products in bulk or want to buy products that are custom made for you, or branded to your business, then it might be a viable option.

Delivery times from Alibaba are typically months. Before buying in bulk from Alibaba you should try to find a similar product in AliExpress and test the market with it first.

I am curious, does DropifyBlack also ship from America to shorten the delivery time by cutting out the “overseas” travel time on everything from AliExpress from my order to my customer on things my customer may order?

Hello does dropify integrate with any UK specific dropshippers? To explain due to brexit and customs fees a supplier to the UK cannot be based in europe for best results as its a bit of a nightmare at the minute, thanks

Unfortunately, Dropified doesn’t connect with any suppliers catering specifically to the UK at this time, but many AliExpress and eBay suppliers can ship worldwide.

Hello are products from FashionGo and LAShowroom fully automated to ship directly to customers?
I ask this question because when I speak to the vendors on those platforms, they said that they do not participate in dropshipping.

Good question. No, there is no automation for order fulfillment from those sites at this time.

You’ll simply manually place orders and fulfill them as you dropship by arbitrage.
